This is just a brief note to thank you and the team at Universal for the work that you performed for us with the addition of a “Great Room” and construction of a pool area to our house at Wooloowin.

The “Great Room” extension has greatly exceeded any expectations that we had. The extension flows seamlessly from the existing house with the high ceilings and the new joinery allowing natural light to fill the kitchen and living areas. The additional light combined with the quality of the joinery and cabinetry lifts the entire house. All those who have viewed the extensions are uniformly impressed with the quality of the workmanship throughout and the comment that is consistently made is that “it looks as if it has always been there.”

We could not be happier with the pool and associated landscaping. With neither of us having been pool owners previously we were very grateful for the practical design advice that the Universal team provided and even at this early stage, we appreciate the benefits that your suggestions are providing in terms of maximizing our enjoyment of the pool.

The results of the renovations are a testament to the attention to detail and the pride in workmanship that we have come to expect from the Universal team and the sub-contractors that you engage. Allan and the team at Universal Building and Construction managed the renovation of our house from the initial planning phase through to construction with a professional, comprehensive and friendly approach to getting the job done. Building staff were always friendly, tidy and worked closely to their timeline with completion of the project finishing ahead of schedule. Allan was always contactable to discuss any concerns and the few issues we had were dealt with constructively.

Universal carried out a renovation on our Queenslander in Windsor in 2005.
We were very happy with every step of the process, which Allan carefully oversaw.
Especially impressive were the comprehensive planning meetings before the job began. Every step was clearly explained, with particular attention to financial transparency. Administrative matters were attended to quickly and the team was always punctual and reliable.
